Holy Apostles Church, Hull

Holy Apostles Church, Hull

SECTOR: Community – CONTRACT VALUE: £1,200,000 – DATE COMPLETED: ongoing

The project aims to regenerate a redundant church building at the heart of the Thornton Estate in Hull.

The brief is to provide rehearsal, practice and performance space for visiting companies to use in the run up to and during Hull City of Culture 2017 and afterwards, providing a community based arts and performance space. In doing so we also aim to create a “civic heart” for the local community.

The project obtained a positive outcome following a Planning Application submission to Hull City Council. We are now awaiting a decision on a funding application, due to start on site in December 2017.
