East Marsh Village Hall

Every community needs its gathering space, the Village Hall. This proposal links to the Shalom church, community and youth centre as part of the East Marsh Community Campus. There is a flexible function room which has views over and opens up to a walled garden and a drop-in ‘kitchen table’ space on the ground floor with access to food growing raised beds, there are office and meeting spaces for East Marsh United https://eastmarshunited.org/ on the first floor with views over Grant Thorold Park. There is a large sweeping aluminium roof topped by a roof lantern providing daylight and natural ventilation to the first floor.
