Six new classrooms and ancillary facilities were completed in February 2014. These were designed as a pair of pavilions with intricate folding roofs culminating in glazed lanterns at their apex, providing natural lighting and ventilation to  the interiors.

Externally the pavilions are clad in western red cedar, providing cohesion across the site with the timber clad hydrotherapy pool and entrance building that were completed in 2006. Roofs are standing seam mill fi nished aluminum.

The classrooms are connected to the existing school via a wide glazed corridor link. Thermal mass is provided by concrete slab fl oors and blockwork walls. Insulation wraps around the building as an unbroken layer, from the underside of the slab, to the outside of the blockwork wall and into the roof, eliminating cold bridging.
