Caistor Co-Op Feasibility Study

SECTOR: Community – CONTRACT VALUE: £1.5 million – DATE COMPLETED: June 2016

The former Co-Op building in the Market Place has been left reduntant, following a new store being built in 2010. The old store has been up for sale since 2010 but has still not been sold.

We were engaged by Lincolnshire Co-Operative Ltd to undertake a Feasibility Study for the former Co-Op store buildings in Caistor, working in conjunction with Heritage Lincolnshire and Caistor Town Council. The 5 buildings which make up the site were each individually listed and were within a conservation area.

The preferred option is a mix of proposed uses, including the refurbishment of existing residential property, small scale retail/commercial spaces and visitor accommodation.
